TheAMCForum.com provides the For Sale Section as a service to its members at no cost. Although we believe the large majority of Sellers who are Forum members are honest and legitimate, it is still the Buyer's sole responsibility to ask questions, verify the Seller's identity, ascertain contact information, availability of the item listed for sale, etc. prior to entering into any sales transaction.
Neither TheAMCForum.com, the Site Administrator, nor the Moderators accepts any responsibility or liability for scams, incorrect ad information, or "deals gone bad" for any reason whatsoever. All sales transactions are at the Buyer's sole risk.
TheAMCForum.com strongly suggests that Buyers check the online Membership Profile listed here on the Forum when dealing with any Seller. It is strongly suggested that sales transactions which are initiated with Sellers whose membership profiles are anonymous, and contain handles, first names only or questionable email contact info be handled with caution!
Know who the Seller is, know their contact information, and validate their credibility BEFORE you send payment for the item you wish to purchase!
In the event you believe a Seller has misrepresented themselves, or if you have been scammed or ripped off, please send a PM to one of the Moderators for follow-up. TheAMCForum.com cannot provide restitution in these instances. Sellers (and Buyers) who are deadbeat should be listed in the Cheers or Jeers section as a service to all Forum members.
Firearms policy
Many firearms cannot be listed on TheAMCForum.com because of strict federal and state government regulations and international laws banning the sale and transfer of these items.
For certain types of firearms that may be listed, sellers have to meet the following requirements:
· The item is listed with the intent of being sold only in the U.S.
· The seller is located in the U.S.
· The item is also located in the U.S.
· The seller offers only domestic shipping for the item, since international shipping would make the item available in countries where it might be prohibited.
· The seller agrees to only ship or transfer a firearm to an FFL (Federal Firearms licensed) dealer in the state to which the firearm is being transferred. This information must clearly be placed in the seller’s ad.
The Moderators of TheAMCForum.com reserve the right to reject any advertisement placed in this Section for any reason. All decisions of the Moderators are final and are not negotiable.
TheAMCForum.com assumes no liability for a seller’s compliance with its firearms policy after an item has been sold.
