I have communicated with Doug at SMS Auto Fabrics the last couple days. I am needing the Pierre Cardin Fabric for my 73. He told me that the Pierre Cardin Fabric will not be here until after the first of the year. I can't get him to give me a more exact date.
I think am going that way in a couple weeks to pick up a car so I think I'll drop in to see him so I can get a better handle on the situation. |

I've dealt with SMS Fabric in the past (he did a run of Comanche headliners with custom made backing boards), and when he discovered that not every custom backing board was fitting every Comanche perfectly, he shipped all new headliners out to everyone that ordered one. No questions asked, he didn't want the old one back, and he would take a dime for shipping. He felt it was issue, and it would be his expense. Amazing business ethics from anyone, especially a company willing to cater to a tiny market like our Comanche trucks. SMS is very much a recommend vender in my book
