Were seats bucket? Not sure if 4-door cars had console option.

Thanks!

It’s kinda buckets. It’s a split in the middle bench. Seats are CHEAP if you want them. No console.

No bucket seats on 4 door models. Reclining split bench on 990's.
Long time AMC fan. Ambassador 343, AMX 390, Hornet 360, Spirit 304 and Javelin 390. All but javelin bought new.

No, the door panels are not the same and are not really interchangeable. The 67's used a totally different inner panel setup and latch and lock hardware. "Pull up" inner door release paddles vs. pull out paddles on the 68. Totally different armrests and armrest attaching hardware. Different inside lock releases as well. 67 pull up knob at the upper rear of the panel vs. flip lever inside the arm rest on 68 and up. 68 and 69 would most likely be interchangeable except for appearance of the surface upholstery pattern.
1967 was the first year of the new big body chassis and style. 67's big cars were totally new and a marked departure from the 66 and previous models. 1968 and forward were "refinement" years. Each of the first three production years 1967, 68 and 68 had marked differences between the years especially when it came to trim and interiors. Not nearly so much after 1970
