Is there any special hardware required where the front parking break cable ties into the rear cable for a 1966 AMC Classic 770 ?

Not familiar with that particular car, but typically there is a lever setup where a single front cable pulls on two rear cables.

Here it is on my 63 Ambo.
It bolts under the torque tube, the cable goes into the end of that lever thing on the left, and is kept from falling out by a split pin. 66 may have been different. Ivor It's not arranged correctly here, might take another pic if I remember, but these are the components. |
