The back page of that brochure on eBay shows they had a pretty advanced process back in 1971, not sure when they actually started the electrocoat priming of the bodies:

I was under the impression that the Javelins came form the US as a "body in white" as would have been supplied to the factory supported racing operations in the states but I'm probably wrong.

Is there any other AMI models near you. Maybe they still have their paint sticker intact.
I got my code from a Toyota Crown.

When I started looking to match the paint I just assumed the car would have been painted in the US and be Frost White. After reading the above posts and a bit of research I now know that the car was painted by AMI. Apparently the same Dulux paint colours were used on all makes that went through AMI.
My paint code is 566 - 8728 White.
Hopefully now the local paint shop will be able to find a match.
I could also ask for a match to a 1969 Toyota white.
Thanks to the replies I may be on the right track.

Following up on this post.
Paint code 566 - 8728.
The 566 referred to the type of paint. 8728 referred to the shade.
I found a PPG 2K formula for the paint and bought it today.
Toyota P18 is listed against this code.
Note when searching on the PC for paint shades you need to put a zero in front of the 4 digit code.
Hopefully it is the correct colour.
