AMC finally is featured on Velocity's Overhaulin' the crown jewel of the Discover network.  

Chip Foose and the A team did a complete rebuild of a 1969 AMX with help from Kennedy American

Just saw this for the first time last weekend. They did some sweet body work. The motor wasn't mentioned until the very end. Until then, I figured they were going to put a GM crate motor in. Fortunately, righteousness prevailed. They said the 390 was "sent out to some AMC experts" and no other details. I got a chuckle out of that. Usually with these car shows, they make it into a soap opera when someone has to squirt ether into the carb or rotate the distributor 180 degrees to get it to start. Not this time. It went out to some experts. Out of curiosity, did any members of this forum do the motor?
