OK help me out here. Summit is listing them as 1.6 ratio and AMC/Chevy. If I recall, 1.6 is the correct ratio and they're the only ones that the listing says AMC, so wouldn't they be the correct ones?

Again, thanks for the input as most of you have forgot more than I know in regards to this.

Cheaper, not sure if better, however not pressed steel either.

Had these recommended by a reputable AMC engine builder.

Price is great and they look decent,
but I worry about off brand roller rockers coming apart and pumping those pesky little needle bearings through the engine. Ouch

Yep, I have used these before and they are good quality. The geometry is correct.

Finally getting around to going back together and hit a huge snag I over looked (surprised actually no one else had this issue, well not really). I didn't check stud size as I assumed (huge mistake w/anything AMC) the application charts were correct. I've got 7/16 studs.

Now try to find an inexpensive 1.6 ratio 7/16 stud rocker that doesn't require replacing push rods (heat treated), "some head machining" and adding guide plates (which in past experience may not fit under stock valve covers).

Summits answer twice hasn't worked.

Thinking of Three Options:

1) Replace studs to 3/8
2) Use Comp 17044 w/o guide plates
3) Use Comp 1451 which is a 7/16 1.5 ratio steel roller tip rocker, will this have any real negative performance effect on the old style cylinder heads? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-1451-16/

Open to other options in the $200 range. Any help today would be great as I want to order ASAP, Thanks

Also wondering......Are the "X" castings coincidences (obviously not on the block)? If not how many parts were cast special for the 390?

Piston, camshaft and bearing pictures when they came out, not cleaned.
