I have these same Michelin Defenders on mine. They're the same diameter as the original E70-14. What did DB charge to add the red stripe, George? Scott, the car tturned out great, but of course after following this thread I knew it would! Congratulations on a job well done!

Today marks two years since work started on the red AMX, so it was fitting that today was its homecoming. After a short shakedown drive earlier in the week, and a couple of minor adjustments, the AMX runs and drives pretty well.
It was a treat for me to see the car's original owner behind the wheel again as he ran me back to the shop, but not before taking some delivery photos, including a recreation of the 1972 photo which started this thread two years ago. This is what it's all about! |
