For example, they offer the narrow white stripe with an outer narrow red stripe that was used on some years of the T-Birds. They can do the thin dual while stripe like AMC and others used on the 1970 models. They have the thin, wider and thin triple stripe sidewalls used on Cadillacs in the late 60's.
they take regular, current production tires and modify the sidewalls. Their product looks outstanding and is top quality.

I have these same Michelin Defenders on mine. They're the same diameter as the original E70-14.

What did DB charge to add the red stripe, George?

Scott, the car tturned out great, but of course after following this thread I knew it would! Congratulations on a job well done!

Today marks two years since work started on the red AMX, so it was fitting that today was its homecoming. After a short shakedown drive earlier in the week, and a couple of minor adjustments, the AMX runs and drives pretty well.

It was a treat for me to see the car's original owner behind the wheel again as he ran me back to the shop, but not before taking some delivery photos, including a recreation of the 1972 photo which started this thread two years ago.

This is what it's all about! Thumbs Up
