At what year did the Trico wiper arms change from one decorative rivet to 2 decorative rivets?

Did 68 Javelins and AMX all have the smaller wiper transmission serrated posts for the wiper arms to mount on?

Thanks to anyone with knowledge on this...Bob Reno in Alabama
Thankyou....Bob

Bob...

I can tell you that the small wiper post on 68 AMX/Javelin carried over to a few very early 69's but no way to exactly.....my 69 AMX that was Body Number E000053 had a small wiper post cowl on it....I think they were just using up the small cowl stampings.  The parts book says it was a clean cross over, but all know these stuff happened all the time.

Hope this helps

Ross, are you saying the the openings in the cowl changed between the small hub and the larger hub wiper transmissions ?

Never knew that. I did know that the hubs were different and that the arms differed accordingly. Did not know that the hub shaft post was a different diameter as well.

Yes, the cowl holes are bigger to fit the larger post thru...

So have to ask as mine are very poor electric wipers for 1969. mind you it did not have any wipers when I got it.
The passenger side swipes fine but the drivers side only swipes 90°. I have a suspicion that the e-xxxx wipers have a short drivers side arm. The wiper holes, mounts etc seem all correct but did the drivers side arm only sweep 90° of the windshield?
Our old 1968 vacuum wiper car had better coverage as memory serves!
