The window sticker on my 70' AMX shows it was shipped to
South Rambler Co
5125-29 South 24th Street
Omaha, NB
Dealer No. 28-4136

Anyone have any information on this dealership or know how to access their records?

Know them. They were located on South 24th St and Q St. They sold out to Mckensie Pontiac around 1971.

I believe the building is still there. I am not aware of who would have the records.

Thanks for the info. Since Pontiac is gone I suspect McKensie is too. I'll try some searches. Wonder what happens to dealer sales / service records when they go under?

I assume the records went to the new owners and eventually destroyed.

Do you know by chance yhe name of the origional owners?

South Omaha Rambler was 4-5 miles and the closet Rambler dealer to Offutt Airforce base. Seemed a lot of airmen drove lots of Americans so good chance that your AMX was an Airman/officer purchase.

Unfortunately I don't. I only have the window sticker.

My car also came from there in Omaha. Still have an envelope from the dealer and the original sales order receipt with MSRP sheet for my car too. Unfortunately, I believe the records for the dealership have all been destroyed by now...

Looks like they traded in a 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook for it. Another cool car.

Cool stuff! I'll see if I can get a scan of my window sticker. Wish I had the original BOS too!
