Been running the same slicks on my Spirit for 10+ years. Obviously I don't get to the track much but will be going more often now. I was wondering if they have a recommended age limit? No UV exposure, stored properly, plenty of meat left.

All my racing has been in the heat - Florida and Georgia and just raced Bristol TN on a cool evening. Definitely had traction issues but not sure if it's more of the weather or tire age. I have always done well on short burnouts, kept pressure around 13 PSI.

In my opinion they are junk by now...
100% recommend you to buy a fresh set, I´ve had good luck with Hoosier if you are looking for suggestions on slicks as well

I would change them out every other year minimum. I don't see the drag strip as often as I expected but my next set is going to be an evolved form of the RT-615K. Embarrassed

I run Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T slicks on my Gremmy
And they hook up really well
Would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a new pair.
I used to run Hoosier DOT radial slicks and they work also but don´t hook as hard as the Quick Time Pro slicks do
