I've had three different OP sending units in my SX4 and none of them read correctly. I have given up. I just accept that what it says I can almost double it in reality.

I hope I have better luck with my 73 as I'm installing the AMX cluster with oil pressure gauge - will see how that goes.....

I didn't have problems with the oil pressure unit but after 6 different temperature units, I finally had to put a resister in line to make one of them show reasonably close. There was a thread on that somewhere that I had posted the details. Fuel sending units are another story... Ermm

Well, i pulled out my new (back when I bought it in 2005) that i have been keeping in to be installed parts, an oil pressure sender for my 71 V8. I need to clean my DVM connections or its multi function dial switch. Pops into auto range and won't lock. All it does is range from 74 to 82 in various random increments. Yep, haven't used it to ohm much, but it does do well for voltmeter and ammeter up to 10 amps. It's 20 years old, and probably near end of life. Ha!

Can't find a part number printed on it, let alone remember if it was unboxed shelf item or what. Will remove it from my pressure switch 90° port cap, and see if there It's any markings that are blocked. Will update in the morning if there is anything to add.
