yeah RPM Air gap manifold and your right i also didn't have an issue with the performer intake. after talking with the engine builder he recommended going back to valley pan and possibly modifying the baffle. thank for the help i'm tearing it down tonite.

yup valley pan is required,same issue on my 401 that was built by tuff dawgs, smoke out of tailpipes. Pulled intake and found that no pan was installed, installed one and no more issues at all. Stay away if they are still around. There is a guy on ebay who sells AMC engines I called him one time and he said he used to be affiliated with them and am not sure what kinda work he does.

I pulled intake off and pcv baffle had a lot of oil in it

I changed the pcv on my 327 because it seemed rather small and I had oil coming up into the dizzie.
Then I found that the pcv pipe where it connects to the intake insulator was pinched almost closed. Sometimes it's hard to find a cause. Ivor |
