I met up with a group of people from http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/index.php in Dahlognea, GA, Saturday morning, for a day of fun. I got there a day early and camped at Desoto Falls Campground. I had a great time and met some fantastic folks. You can see more pics at http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/63333-July-4th-weekend-ride-in-N.GA/page17

I debated for over a year as to whether or not to replace the IFS with a solid axle. I was surprised how well it did and happy with my decision to stay IFS. What really was surprising was the fact that there were a few really capable Jeeps and a Unimog and my Eagle seemed to get the most attention.
