My books don't go that late....but the number is very late 70's /early 80's series....if you are looking at a "typical" AMC oval head mirror, like on 70 up AMX/Javelin-etc....the big difference is the shape of the remote control....the late ones were fluted, early was bulbed.

That number does not appear in my 1979/1980 book so you can rule out those years
