Can I get just the blank aluminum valley section?  I want to fab up an LS style intake and really don't want to destroy an otherwise good carb intake to do it.

You would have to do that on your own. We cut up one of our Pro-Flo 2 intakes to make the prototype in the pictures.

Hello Dennis,
I didn't read through all 22 pages ( I did read several) Sorry for the newbie question... but my question is what would be the advantage of this manifold over just putting a fitech or holley standalone kit on a dual or single plane edelbrock manifold? Is this designed for higher horspower applications, because (correct me if I'm wrong) wouldn't using this manifold and piecing together all the other hardware and electronics cost more to convert to efi?
Thanks.

David.

In short, the new manifold is being designed for our AMC Pro-Flo 4 (port injected) EFI system. It will also be sold as a stand alone manifold so that people can build their own system with the components they choose to mix and match with the intake.

You should really take a little time and read through the thread so that you can get more details of what we are doing. I think that might answer all of your questions.

Ok, I'll get to reading as soon as I get a chance. Thanks.

I have recently used an air gap manifold and milled the center out of it,
it's easy and quick in a horizontal machining center.

I gasket match the ports and put a 1/4-20 bolt pattern
around the ports.

In total it takes about an hour.

Yeah, I've got one of the original Pro Flo intakes I can use for this.  What do you mean by a 1/4-20 bolt pattern around the ports?  Bolt pattern for what?

Thanks,

Scott

The manifold I adapt has welded flanges, I machine it to match and screw it on.
This eliminates the hassle of trying to weld in a VERY tight space.

While it is expensive to "ruin" a good manifold,
try to make a base and it becomes obvious this is
the cheapest solution.

Got it! Agree on cost part, that's why I was hoping for what I thought was an Edelbrock produced base. Even if it was the same price as a complete manifold, it would at least save the machine time.
