I asked him about specs and pricing but he had no info.

Who exactly is "he" and what exactly did "he" "sign off" on ?? No dyno testing has even been done yet so there is nothing to sign off on at this point. Sounds like someone is jumping the gun a bit.

On this thread I have been trying to keep things real with what is actually happening with this project and keep you guys informed, rather than guessing at an availability date which is not realistic at this point in the project.

No you won't. As I stated before these projects take time and this is not the only project currently being worked on by any means.

I'm sorry this person you talked to in IL. (whoever it may be) lead you to believe otherwise.

The block and crank are still sitting in line at the machine shop at this time.

Being able to buy the existing Pro-Flow EFI manifold ala carte would be good enough for me.

I think that would be a good option, at least until the new manifold is available.

The EFI intake (as well as the fuel rails) have always been available ala carte!! I have posted the part numbers several times here on the forum.

67-69 EFI Intake #27-3530
70-up EFI Intake #27-3531

I'm not sure what current availability is on these manifolds now, but if we still have some they can be special ordered through Summit Racing by the part numbers above.

Yeah, they could very well be gone now.

Jeff Lee has 2 of the old EFI intakes which he brought to Edelbrock for comparison with their new prototype intake.... Maybe he will sell one?

I wish I would have ordered more of the original intakes..... Goes back to the old saying if I knew then what I know now..... But at least Edelbrock came through with the first order and we made it to the Engine Masters Challenge.

They probably would have sold a lot more of them if it was more widely known that you could buy them separately.
