1695 is a really good price for a AMC edelbrock crossram. At that price I think they will sell out fast.   I think edelbrock should offer a matching cam kit with it with a modern profile...would help create more sales.

Connected up with Mike today and will hopefully have final details on the quantity of the production run and the timing of availability later this week. Have not made any headway yet on the modifications so may have to create that option as after production add-on so as to not slow down scheduled production of the intakes.

The existing 7132 Edlebrock cam looks to be pretty darn good for use with the Crossram based upon first hand experience in setting up crossrams with Crane Cams using a very similar profile to the 7132. I will look to work with Eddlebrock to test the 7132 cam on one of their test motors as well as one of my own engines and report back with some dyno specs after testing is completed.

How much interest is there in a reproduction group 19 cam?

I think you could get much better performance with a modern cam,(such as a dual pattern) after all, it's over 40 years of advancements!

Cam companies can produce any cam profile you want as a custom grind so not sure there is a need to specifically "reproduce" the Group 19 cam.

BigBadGreen asked about the cam above. I have also seen other discussions of this cam and some still say it is a good cam. I am personally running one and it seems to be ok.

Absolutely you could likely get better performance and streetability from a more modern grind. That goes without saying. How much is debatable, at least until someone does a dyno comparison, but definitely some improvement would be available. Some care about upgrades inside the motor and whether they are stock even if you can't see them. Others don't. Matter of taste! The same argument could be made for the Cross Ram, Jahn's pistons, Crane heads, etc etc etc, but many here seem interested in those parts. All have more modern replacements available as well.

I have access to the original profiles etc, so rather than mapping it out from the specs sheets, which may or may not be all that accurate given the "Advertised duration vs .050" and other factors, may not be all that accurate.
