I had my 71 AMX at the track last weekend and it was really hot out . The density altitude was 2665 ft above sea level . The car ran great for the conditions but I'm curious what it would've done with a density altitude of 1000 ft below sea level . It ran 11.26 @ 118 mph . Anybody care to try and figure it out ?

Mine spits out 10.93 @ 121.5 but in my experience DA conversions are a load of crap. Probably would have run a similar number to what's in your sig line.

ghinmi , last year the DA was 555 below sea level around Nov 2 and it ran 11.05 @ 119 mph . Early Sept last year at the amc raceday it was fairly warm and it ran 11.3's all weekend but it wasn't as hot as this weekend that just past . The car is 100 lbs lighter now and it ran 11.26 @ 118 in the hottest weekend this year . I think your guess is gonna be pretty close .
