Thanks a lot guys, your kind words mean a lot to me!
The most gratifying task was getting all of the dents (and kinks) out of the stainless. Basically it turned out to be pretty simple... but VERY time consuming, I know I spent more than 6 hours on a couple of the pieces... and I can certainly understand why it's SOOOOOO expensive to have this done professionally!
Basically, I started with a piece of 400 grit sand-paper wrapped around a small (1" x 1" x 4") block of wood, and gently sanded over any of the "flaws", high-lighting the extent of the depression. Then I used a small piece of oak (1" x 1/8" x 3"), and gently tapped on the indentions from the back-side... and kept repeating this process until it was smooth. Then I "fired up" the buffing wheel, and polished that one little spot. And then continued this process all of the way down the piece.
All together, at 3-4 hours each night, it took nearly a month to complete all of the pieces.

Well guys, I finally decided to grow a spine, and shoot some color on the old girl myself.
So, this week-end I built a paint-booth, and some racks (out of some old saw-horses, galvinized-pipe, and water-line insulation) to set the fenders, doors, hood, and trunk-lid on... only one at a time will fit in the booth (either the car on the rotiserrie, or the racks) but that's ok.
Wish me luck!!!

Well, I started to lay some color last week-end... did the underside of the hood, all of the steering-column pieces, and the rear interior panels (that cover the rear side-windows)...
This week-end I took care of the inside of the two front fenders, here's how they came out:
