Looks fantastic, Bob! Does this mean we are going to see the car out this summer?

Thanks Howard. This summer might be just a little too aggressive... next summer for sure though. Maybe I need to get a couple of kegs, fire up the grill, and call all of the Ohio & Michigan guys to come over and help!!!!!
By the way, did you notice that I followed your lead on the door panels? Thanks for all of the interior shots you sent me... they really came in handy... especially since they were about all my interior-guy had to go by.

Maybe we should do a Rogue reunion at the 2017 Kenosha Meet? It will be the 50 year Anniversary of the 1967 Rogue.
Can you say 4 speeds? |

Well guys, it's been a while!!!!!
Old Rose is finally re-united with all of her parts... under one roof, for the 1st time in several years. She's obviously not going to make it --ANYWHERE-- this year (the wife and I are going to Kenosha though). ...I guess it's time to get to WORK!!! |

That is great news Bob I've been wondering how things were going with this project, but I understand life gets in the way sometimes.

I don't know, Bob. Doesn't look to me like there's that much to do to get it ready for Kenosha. Heck, you got three weeks!

Slowly making progress...
As many have found, getting the rubber window, trunk, and door seals to work is NOT fun... I even found what may be the last set of vent window seals on the planet at the Kenosha AMC Homing Coming swap-meet. I also got my wheels and tires (finally) mounted, and boy do they look great... (I no longer needs Zioamc's photo-shopped picture of my car!). ...for those that are bound to ask... There's an Explorer 8.8 (narrowed by 3" by using two "short-side" axles, that measures 56 7/8", mounting-surface-to-mounting-surface. The rear wheels are 17x7 with 4.5" back-space and 235/55/17 tires. The front wheels are also 17x7 with 3.75" back-space (PLUS A 1/4" SPACER) and 215/55/17 tires. In the following picture, the closest they come to rubbing is about 1/2" at 10:00 and 14:00 on the tire... with a 1" space in the back between the tire and the leaf-spring. And here is how it looks between the front tire and the trunnion... with a 1/4" space in place. The only other thing, is that the front tires get within about 1/2" of the front-fender lip (lower front corner) when the wheels are turned. |
