I like it! If you have an extra crossmember that's a perfect idea! If not, notching the 2x8s (or whatever) for the trans and oil pan would be fine, maybe a wood support on each side to prop against the engine mount, manifold, or whatever, to keep it from tilting.

Over $7000 and a year later. Who takes a year to build a motor? A 3 year old could've done a better paint job but I can move forward with my car.

very well done I like what you done now come the hard part shoe horning the 401 in the engine bay it fits but I had issues with radiator clearance on my 65 220 fan was real close to the radiator but I moved that in front of the core support but I used a factory 3 core radiator I see you have a aftermarket did you have the engine mocked up in here before
