Why would you spend more money for the MSD starter when you can get a known great starter and that the solenoid can be rotated to any position (rear a lot more than clockable) without taking the starter apart.

Was reading some specs on both and the MSD has a 3.4 hp motor compared to the 2.2 Robo and it does say adjustable billet mounting block.

quote= and a billet aluminum mounting block that can be clocked in different positions for tighter clearance applications /quote.

Clocked is different than Robbmc's adjustable.
quote from RobbMc site= Most “adjustable” mini starters can be rotated, but only within a limited number of possible positions. These starters also must be partially disassembled before they can be rotated. RobbMc starters can be rotated to any position, without taking the starter apart, and in many cases, without even removing the starter from the engine!/quote

limited number of possible positions = clocked

I have never had any issues with the one I am using, my other is on the shelf, but others if they had issues Robbmc was right on it to get it fixed.

Guess it is nice that there is other options but I would not think twice about getting the RobbMc starter.
