I was just looking to fit a larger wheel on the car, and I've always wanted Minilites, but I want a 17-inch wheel rather than a 15.
I came by these, price is very reasonable compared to some others.

Summit-Racing

Soon these will also be available in the 17 x 9.5 as well as the 17 x 8 and 15 inch varieties that are currently available.

Nice looking wheels. They should compliment any AMC.

Those look good. I'm currently looking for wheels that would complement the flares on a '77 Hornet AMX...those might be it. (probably 15")

Those are good looking. Would go great with or without flares. When I read what kind of wheels I did instantly picture a nostalgic racing mmMini Cooper with flares and wide wheels. Depending on the look your going for. I've seen pictures of Javelins and Hornets set up for track/road raceing, those would look good with that look. Shoot, they'd look good on about any style of set up. Good choice.

Nice find!  Here's another slightly cheaper option too, though not sure if they have them in 17" in our bolt pattern. They definitely have them in 15".

These are excellent in 15x8s....spun aluminum rim is actually lighter than a REAL 'new' Minilite.

Thanks for this!  I have been looking at Vintage Wheel Works Type 48 wheel: http://vintagewheelworks.com/products/wheels/v48  because I too like the Minilite look, but want it in a 17" variety.  At $00+ a pop - I just can't make these happen.  But this new offering does get my attention.

For the guys down-under who have tried these - are you satisfied with their track-day worthiness, and general quality of the construction and finish?
