Appreciate that. I once bought a brand new wire feed welder and never took it out of the box before I sold it. One of those things where I was going to get around to learning and never did.

We built one out of a sheet glass caddy, Javelin K-member, and a BW automatic bell housing.  I have it rigged so that the water pump is ran by a remote Moroso water pump motor.  I can shut the engine off and the electric radiator fan and water pump will stay running until I shut it off.  Click on the picture and it will pan around so that you can see the back.

I sent this rig I had home with a guy so he could start it every once in awhile till the car was ready for it...Otherwise I would have took him for a ride around the country mile in the Snot rod/jerico with his engineBig smile

And then he takes it back out to fix it..  It doesn't make me laugh though.
The starting stand has saved me many times over.

If you are building engines for someone else...there is no car to plug it in.  Thus SC397 has a good set-up.  I have used it several times for 327/287 and I loved it.  Especially on a new engine to break it in.
