I'm planning a trip to the US either early April or mid November 2016. Preferrably the Chicago and Detroit area. Are there usually any meetings or shows in either of these periods?
Is there by the way still anything to see/visit in Kenosha, as far as AMC is concerned? Thanks. Dennis

If you have the time - jump on an airplane for Las Vegas. SEMA is going on there the first week of November, and the Las Vegas AMC Reunion is right after.

I live in western NY with a similar climate to Chicago and Detroit. During November I put my cars in hibernation and if it is an early spring they might wake up in April.

Don't forget that if you attend SEMA, you will need to have your tickets in advance.
As far as I know, it is not a public show. You need to be from the 'Industry'. I would love to go some day!

What about March/May or October for AMC events in those areas? Would really be great to attend an AMC show...

Nothing of a show, but November 1st Great Lakes Classic AMC club general membership meeting is at Hott Slots in Livonia for some slot car racing. Our host Rusty Rogers has quite the collection of AMC slot cars.

Towards the end of May is Great AMC Day (GAD) in Ohio. It's a drag racing event with a show and swap meet. Best part is it's all AMC! Mike Luke runs it and I'm sure he'll be posting up info as soon as he has it.
