Getting ready to convert to a manual setup on my 73. Does anyone know if the pushrod is the same for manual or power? Guess I will find out when its apart but would like to know beforehand. I will be using a Wilwood master

Harry....Power brake (disc or drum) used a straight rectangular bar from brake pedal through firewall to the bell crank assy that is mounted on the engine side of firewall.  The booster and master cylinder bolt to the bell crank assy.  On Manual Brake, the master is bolted right to the firewall with 2 bolts/nuts/studs and the pushrod is attached to the master with a clip, which kind of makes it one piece, so to speak.  The other end bolts to the brake pedal...so the pushrod is completely different, I think you are going to have to get creative.

Yes i had a 72 Matador with manual drums years ago so remember that. I guess when I remove the whole booster and bellcrank I can check to if the rod will reach through to the pedal.....Thx
