Awesome stuff Jeff, prices seem pretty reasonable to me. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of this gear making the long trek back to the motherland.

Hi all, i made my final trip to Mascot Motors last Thursday, I now have all parts at the work shop and my country block. Over the Christmas break a lot of sorting out was done, and to my surprise I've found parts I never new I had eg new front shocks for 1970- Ramblers, s/h tailgate 68 rebel wagon.
Regarding emails, I'm feeling more confident then ever before, thank you all for being patient. I'm now checking emails before I start work every day at the workshop.

Keep Rambling on.....

So, you have officially gotten all the parts. GREAT, because my service from them was ABSOLUTELY S!!!!,
I bought some parts back in JULY and JUST got them. I was told the last time that they were shipped before X-MAS. They just showed up dated 17/01/2012.

Never mind the condition, used when I was told NEW!!!!  I will manufacture my parts before I use them for anything, if they are still around!!!!!!!

Hi all, I'm Steve Fripp, my twin brother is Jeff from Rambler Spares. Ive been on the forum previously as huddy55 but due to work changes and lifestyle change, i have disappeared from this forum for a while and lost all my passwords in the meantime. I decided to start fresh and with more time on my hands, Im back as huddy1955.

In regards to Rambler Spares, I will be assisting Jeff with his new venture, only the Rambler side of things and not his Radiator Business.

I base myself  near Lithgow NSW and will be looking after the parts that are located here and assisting in postage of parts straight from here to the customer without Jeff needing to travel a 4hr return trip on the weekends the to post them on the next working day.

Yes I do too have a full time job, in a local Quarry. My Local post office is a general store so I am able too post parts from 5:00am to 7:00pm each weekday. Very good service here.

In regards to the parts cars that we have collected and stripped over the last seventeen years....
which range mostly in the standard 4 door sedans and a couple of wagons. Very few two door Ramblers ever come up to be stripped so you won't find much here in Javelin or AMX panels etc, but will still have a couple of items left.

In the last three years, 14 cars were stripped and parts put on our shelves. This year will be stripping out 2 x Rusty 1957 Hudson Hornet "6"s, 1 x Rusty 57 Hornet V8 with a very low mileage AMC 327 V8,  66 Classic 287 Sedan, 1968 Rebel 290 sedan and "possibly" a 1970 Ambassador 2 door hardtop. All these cars are on the property and have been for some time. Hopefully in the next 4 -8 weeks I will be busy picking up the following complete parts cars, 64 American sedan, 65 American sedan, 68 Rebel wagon, 69 Rebel Wagon, 70 Rebel Wagon, 72 Matador Wagon and a 75 Matador Sedan. I have seen all these cars and all are very sad, we are just saving them from being crushed.

If anyone is having trouble contacting Jeff, don't worry, I can assist and be contacted after hours on 0477 090874 or on home number 02 63590748 but only if Jeff cannot be contacted. Jeff does work for himself, delivers his radiators to his customers on his own, shutting up shop at certain times of a working day. His wife is also working fulltime but not full long as she is pregnant to their first child (about bloody time too).

Kind regards Steve Fripp

Proud owner of 1955 Hudson Hornet, 1966 Classic Wagon, 1969 Rebel Sedan, 1971 Matador sedan, 1985 Jeep J20 with factory 360 auto combo and a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic.

Have owned plenty of others including an Aussie 69 AMX and 72 Javelin.

Good to see you back Steve, are you going to Cooly Rocks this year?

Any idea where I can get a new windscreen for my '67 American?

Hi Gary, it is good to be back.

It's unfortunate i couldn't get "huddy55" back on line because I wanted to start a new thread in the FOR SALE TRADING POST section but I need to reach 30posts before I can "even though i'd previously posted 300 and more in the past". The thread would be under Rambler Spares Downunder . the reason for this is because not many of the forum members would go to the For sale section in the Australian Edition.

We do have new screen but none for this model. Jeff and I have spoken about getting a few done for our local cars. Yes will do have over 100 screens on the rack but mostly  used. We have plenty of 58-59 new screens, rebel, matador and i think classic screens. I know there is plenty of used American screens but new is better.

Jeff and I will be travelling to cooly rocks in the Ambassador Hardtop for the weekend and we are looking forward to catching up with you guys.

Regards Steve.
