In just recently purchased a 68 rambler with a 232 and a m37. The transmission shifts great and does not slip. My problem is that the front seal is leaking heavily. I found the gasket and seal kit on American parts depot. Does a complete rebuild kit exist with seals and clutches? If I've got to pull the transmission anyways I want to just rebuild the whole thing.

The master kit comes with rings, seals, steels, frictions but no bands. I think the big suppliers are Fatsco and Northwest transmission. There may be a local shop in your area that can rebuild your TC.

Turns out my planet gear is causing noise as well. Are the gears still available or do I need to start looking for another core?

The bushings that the sun gear shaft run in may be worn. I put one together where I had to replace those and measured that there was actually .030" sideways (radial or axial?) play. Northwest Transmission has the bushings, don't know about gears. I think if gears are gone you'd be better off finding another donor.
