I have tried unsuccessfully to find the detailed drawing of the plans to make the lowering plates. Can someone post the drawing please. I can fab them at my friends machine shop. i would like to lower both the front and rear of my 67 Rogue. i am in the process of converting to front disc brakes so i will have everything apart, hope to do the plates now while things are disassembled. I am using spindles and rotors from a 79 spirit.
question: i understand that the disc brake conversion can move the front wheels out about 3/8 inch, so then the lowering plates will be an additional 3/8 inch. this in theory will move the tires away from the trunnions allowing for wider tires. i plan to purchase new raised letter tires to install on some factory 14"slots i polished up. any thoughts on tire sizes and issues?
