having issues with my converter on my 727,its a lock up converter,it worked fine before this nightmare of a rebuild,i drained converter and pan,new filter and front seal,its already leaking from front seal and pan,idle set at 1000 to 1050,put in gear it drops to around 550 to 600.stall is way low as well,was told it was a 2500 stall,starts spinning tires at 1800 to 2000.converter has r-26 marked on it and its about 10 1/2 "any help for this issue?thanks

Are you running a race setup or a stocker? The 727 converter for an '81 Wagoneer with 4.2L is probably what you need.
