I have the fabric sorced for redoing the seats in the 1973 Levi Gremlin, but I just wanted to check on the buttons that I have seen in attached pics (77 Hornet).
Is this the original look with the metal levi's buttons imbedded into the fabric for the earlier Gremlin Levi's ?

I have managed to buy a couple of old Levi's denim jackets with a ton of these buttons on them, that I was hoping to use on the interior ?

I've seen the buttons offered on Ebay, usually very expensive. I don't think they're the same as the ones on clothing but anything can be made to work.

Yep, that's the look.

The way they fasten to the upholstery is different than the jackets but the buttons are essentially identical in look on the "face".

Don't forget the orange "tabs" as well. ;)

Thanks guys.

Yeah I am prepared to take the buttons I have to a machine shop if need be to help make them work.

Yes I have a few of the little Levi Tabs from a few old pairs of jeans. Also thinking of a bit of customizing by using the Levi square leather patch, maybe at the top of the front buckets or on the door cards ?
