Thank you PacerRacer!

Spirit's are starting to grow on me...nice ride DRS! I may have to start looking for one once I get settled out West (for work)...hate to take a trip out there and not drag something back.

DRS what does your Spirit weigh? I am putting a similar combo to your old engine in my 3000 lb Rambler. Now I know it will not run anywhere near the nines but I am shooting  for something in the 10s. Thanx.

It weighs 2700 with me setting in the car ready to go down the track.

Full round tube mild steel DOM frame, 9" rear, turbo 400, funny car cage, strange strut front end. Ran 9.50 all day long with a 405 inch motor with SR heads, 8.90 with a 440 inch motor and wide ported SR heads.

I have some pics of the chassis build if anyone wants to see them. My local buddy built the chassis and headers for me. He did an amazing job !
Best 1/4 mile 8.99, 1/8 mile 5.71, 60 foot 1.27, no power adders
