When I put the Richmond 5 speed in my 69 AMX--3.27 first--1:1 final by the time I got what I wanted I had spent closer to 4000 total. Including buying a scatter shield that would not fit the floorboard and changing the rear to a Ford 9 3/8 inch with a 2:80 posi and all the machine work needed to complete the changes. This was about 1993 era and pricing. The car was not a drag car just a street car. I loved what the ratios ended up as and the low speed manners that this change did for the car. Its shifter also did not work with the T10 floor plate. Memory puts it about 5 inches from workable(with the hole)

The drawings and engineering is complete for the early Nova and AMC Legend700 5 speed unit. With that said, there is no release date at this time.

I know a lot of people would be interested in this to be able to fit into the small-body AMC cars (Hornet and Gremlin).  I'll dig out my last SR-4 and figure out where the shifter sits.

If we use the shifter location of the SR4/T4/T5 Spirit variant, that expands the fitment into the Spirit/Concord platform as well.  The shifter only winds up being an inch or two to the left of the automatic shifter opening.
I am genetically incapable of being Politically Correct.

With the move and relocation of Legend Gear & Transmission, things are slow with the 15.5" 3-3/4" left offset model. The LGT700 shifter stick locations that are available are:

13.5" - 17.5" - 19.5" on center (easiest in stall, no tunnel hump needed, no console

17.5" with a 1.5" left offset from center

17.5" - 19.5" with a 2.5" left offset from center
