Anyone know or have a list of what year body panels interchange on the 86 and newer Cherokee's? I just picked up an 88 Limited for the 4.0 and am going to look at a 99 thats been hit in the rear. Sounds like an easy fix...

The only possible problem is the 1997-onward XJ was restyled somewhat and the body panels is not directly matching with 1984-96.

Yes, the rear quarters and side glass may interchange but pretty much everything else is different. Chrysler switched to a steel rear liftgate in 1997 replacing the earlier fiberglass one.
