I'm missing the hardware link and bolts needed to connect the booster to the brake pedal. From some other forum photos I make it out to be a large U shaped piece. So far I'm not even able to find a name for this part in the TSM. Does anyone have a spare , or could someone post some measurements? I bet is something I could make if I had the correct dimentions. thanks

I don't have a photo of it but the bolt that connects the bracket to the pedal is shouldered. I made something similar for the other side of the lever on my AMX. I ground the bottom half of the hex of a hex headed bolt circular to fit the hole in it's bushing. Mine has no threads (it's more of a pin) but you could do the same thing with a threaded bolt.

Here's a pic.

Thanks R.M.
It's simply a shouldered bolt running through the two? Seemed like there would be some sort of other connector between the two instead of just bolting the strait together. So the shoulder sets the clearance between the two to avoid binding then I imagine.

Thanks for the feedback and photos. Unfortunately no such bolt in my spare hardware. I'll have to find or make another.

I'd appreciate it. Two afternoons squandered over a lowly bolt. I found a couple of close fits, but not correct. Finding the proper size at an online shop is about impossible. Going to try a couple local hardwares next.

I thought it would be easy to find a common shoulder bolt as a replacement.  Doesn't seem to be working out.  Taking a common grade 8 bolt and putting a sleeve on it may be a better option.  Obviously if Joe comes through  that would be the best.

The grade 8 bolt with a sleeve is much better than machining one out of softer steel.
Don't forget to install it with the correct locking nut, which should be grade 8 also.
