They should be fairly easy to find. My '75 Gremlin X bought new had a two-barrel 258.

I think that you might be referring to the aluminum intakes used in the 80's on the Eagle and Jeeps.

the 81-up (i think it is) aluminum intake manifold is a great thing. its also 25 lbs lighter. it's a great upgrade for older engines. i used one with a Weber carb and then later a GM TBI system, on a '70 232.

Those are aluminum manifolds? They're typically painted red and look like steel to me. They look heavy. I wouldn't bother with them and it's probably easier to find an Offenhauser manifold or just go MPFI.

Yes, some of the Mexican engines used a 2100 carb. I think the intakes are cast iron, not aluminum. Clifford makes a single plane intakes that will take a Ford carb. The intake has a large square opening with several plates available for different carbs, but not as thick as most adapters. I think Offenhauser makes a single plane intake for the AMC 6 that has the Holley (Ford) pattern and will take a 2V or 4V carb (open center). The better street intake if the Offy Dual Port, but it requires a small 4V carb.
