The Randall Rambler 401 conversion, dropping a stock 401 into an otherwise stock V8 Gremlin sold from 1972-74 guaranteed a 13.90 1/4 mile time with no other changes.
no smog and head work, long tubes, cam, etc.....probably looking at 12.5 's or better. It's all in the 60 ft time! My thought is: a big engine in a short wheelbase, lightweight car will have more traction issues than lack-of-horsepower issues. looking forward to hear the times. Mike
