I have two engine balancers that I need help identifying. The numbers on them are 3216084 and 3230132. Can anyone tell me which engines they belong on? Thanks

I moved this question to the more appropriate place, but don't want it to disappear. Can someone answer this for our new member?
Thanks! Paul Mittermaier

I am in the process of reassembling my engine that I built in 1992 and has been running perfectly fine except for a rear main seal leak, so I took out to paint engine compartment and engine....Here is what I have and want to see why I never have any issues.
This motor is a frankenstein so read specs. I checked all part numbers to verify exactly what I have Late 70's 360 Block 73 401 heads 70 390 crank rods and pistons 70 390 flywheel (4 speed car) Based on your Balancer info - 3216084 73/4 360 balancer Everything seems to be good except my balancer is not correct but like I said it has been in the car since 1992 when I built it and never had any vibration issues, could it be that you could balance that balancer with these pieces? Regardless it's going back together this way but just thought I'd see if anyone else has had a similar experience |

a good machine shop should have no problem balancing the assembly. Rods , pistons , crank , balancer , flywheel. Some want the bearings as well as the bolt for the balancer. Hope this helps.
