I loved Canada and saw Stevie Ray voughan and Joe Cocker there in Hamilton just weeks before Stevie lost his life. Once retired I returned to Texas where I grew up. I rely on a Canuck Ken Parkman for cylinder head work and credit him and Tim at Bullet primarily for the ability to coax the pump gas street driven 68 AMX that I bought new to 10.25 ET at the track. I recommend you contact Bullet to see if they have 6 cylinder blanks, if so follow TIM's lead after explaining what you are hoping to achieve.

I have a good friend with 3 Saab convertibles, and he is wanting to sell me a Viggen with 50,000 miles. Your thoughts on the Viggen? I believe it is a 2001.

They are quirky, sexy, quick and pretty. In other words great cars. You should read about the SAAB Endurance Challenge where speed records where set at Talladega Speedway in 86 and 96. That was done with less power than the Viggen.

Although not Saab related, I thought I'd let you guys know that I just finished a new version that has an additional line at the bottom for you to enter data for a custom cam of your own. All the calcs for ramps are approximated based on a hydraulic flat tappet design, so it may not be the best if you try to compare a roller cam to a catalog hydraulic.

I also fixed a glitch in the advance/retard calculation which was causing the graphs to look funky.

Here's a new version of the spreadsheet.

uploads/3041/amc_cams_13.zip

I fixed a few little things, added an option to see just dual pattern or just single pattern cams, and added a check box to shut off all the criteria.

I also added all of the Elgin Industries cams. Interestingly, it appears that Erson uses the Elgin cams to fill out their product lineup:

Erson E710010 = Elgin E-1078-P
Erson E710012 = Elgin E-912-P
Erson E710014 = Elgin E-911-P
Erson E710016 = Elgin E-1041-P
Erson E710018 = Elgin E-910-P

The E710112, E710121, E710321, and E710421 cams appear to be their own though as I don't see those offered by anyone else.

The forum won't store an Excel file, so I put the Excel file in a zip file. You'll need to use something like 7-zip to extract the Excel file, then open it in Excel.

Someone else was using Excel for Android and had it working fine, but I've only tried it on a PC.

I don't think the 7132 will make enough vacuum to run power brakes, if that's a concern for you.
