How many lbs of R12 Freon?

I've searched here,on line and my TSM and I can't find how many lbs of R12 Freon should be in my 70 AMX. I'd like to charge it today - Please help.

Not sure if it would be the same but the '64 Classic/Ambo TSH states: "the normal charge is 2 3/4 pounds of Freon-12 with 6 c.c. of methanol."

That should put you in the ball park.

Ron, not sure about 1970, but 1974 TSM states for Javelin (Series 70) Charging Capacity is
2 lbs R-12, w/4cc of Anhydrous Methanol.
Original Owner, 1974 Javelin:
360ci,2v,727TC. Motorola Multiplex with 8-Track.
G4 Plum exterior with 421Q Black Uganda Interior. Purchased on July 16, 1974 from Hooker AMC, Sherman, TX for $4500.20
