How can i lower my front end? |

I have a 1968 ambassador sst coupe ht, the front end sits as if theres no motor in it and i wanted to drop it like 2.5-3 inches can anyone tell me what i can do?

You really don't want to cut the coils, the trunnion suspension doesn't like to be lowered much. You might get 6 cylinder coils, but it won't drop much. I think these plates will drop the front about 1.5". They mount between the knuckle and spindle. Maybe a lighter spring from somewhere like Espo and the lowering plate?

Has the front suspension been worked on lately ?
It sounds like someone tightened the front suspension arm pivots with the suspension hanging down. they're to be tightened with the suspension at ride height.
