Hornet Drag Cars!

What site?

The car is a literally a turn key 1977 Hornet hatch Race car with trailer. The engine is a fresh 390 with late heads, aluminum rods, etc. etc. The trans is a Joe Liberty pro-shifted Super T10. The rear is a Spooled 9" with 4.56 gears. The fastest time the car has ran is 8.90 (with a different engine). He really wants to work out a deal to trade it for a SC/360. John Adam is helping the fellow trade or sell the car due to health problems. John is the guy who just sold off his white 72 Matador race car on e-pay. I just talked to John and he said that i could post up his number but, I ask that you please don't call him unless you are serious.

Yes, 8.90 in the quarter is the best time. From my understanding it ran low 9's most of the time.

This is the only picture we have of it. The trailer has 3 new tires and comes with all of the straps etc..

That was my misunderstanding. Sorry about that. I didn't know that he had a different engine in it when they ran 9's. Glad you called him to straighten it out. Regardless, still a steal.
