Guess I should add info on the car eh? 1968 Rebel 550 with a 232. It has an Arctic air under dash setup.

Never seen one like that.

You can just replace it with a generic one. Receiver/driers are not much more than a reservoir with a desiccant bag inside. They all work the same.

Hoping to find a direct replacement so I don't have to modify much.

Then you may have to find a place to rebuild your current receiver/drier. There is a company out there that specializes in doing that, but I forget their name right now. I'm sure either somebody else on here will speak up about therm. If not, a google search should bring it up.

Basically they cut your old one open, clean it out, and put a new desiccant bag inside it. If you have or know somebody with a welder you could have them do it or do it yourself. Just buy a new receiver/drier and steal the desiccant out of it.

www.classicautoair.com

They redid my Gremlin drier.  Even though there are "matching" parts on the shelf for many of these, the problem is that brackets are often wrong or improperly placed to allow fittings to route correctly.  I tried APD, and they still sold me a replacement item, and it was wrong.  After all that effort, the extra money for getting it rebuilt was worth it to get the original fitting part back.

I used Classic Auto Air for a rebuild. About $110 plus 10 weeks turn around. They can duplicate your hoses if they are original.
