I'm on leak patrol with my newly acquired 64 Rambler Classic.
It looked like I had a leaky heater core, and I still probably do. I bypassed the heater core (with the tee from a flush kit) and still seem to have a small leak inside the cab about where the heater control valve is. I still have to pull the parts out and visually verify specific leaks. Just in case though, I checked NAPA for a new heater control valve, and they had a repair kit. Are these things repairable? They've been a throw away part on just about anything I've worked on in the past. Also, does this look the right part if it is rebuildable? https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6601000 |
