Does your AMX use the same clutch linkage and Z bar as the small bodied AMC"s? |

If you use small type spark plugs there is no need to grind header flange to fit spark plugs. I use Champion RC-12YC for street. They hold up well! I beet the snot out of them. For race applications I use NGK R5671A-7.

I use small plugs, as that's what Eddy specs. The problem is getting a socket on the plugs. Because the plug angle on the Edelbrock heads is different. Even the header gasket interferes a little.

Not sure what gaskets you used, but the Edelbrock gaskets don't interfere with the plugs at all, just have to grind a little of the flange for the different plug angle.

Got these for our Gremlin. Work well, no fit issues except for the starter - have to use a mini. Did need to get the car on a lift to install them; they were too long to install with the car sitting on jacks.

Those are the ones that I have been looking at. I already have a mini starter, so that's not a problem. How's the ground clearance with these? |
