Hey guys, I have a 68 ambassador near me that's pretty much complete near me. I know javelin/AMX parts pretty well but when it comes to the other AMC's I'm a little lost. Missing the motor, trans, and steering column. What would be the harder to find parts to get off of it before it gets squished? I've already grabbed the radio, gauges, and heater controls.

The tail light sections are pretty good. There's pretty much all of the trim. Some has the chrome pitted but not the zink underneath this is also an ax car. Only the under dash stuff is left. Is it worth fighting the dash to pull it out? What do those parts usually go for? Don't want to pay double what it's worth kinda thing. The door sills seem to be good.

Any info on what parts are "the ones to get" and maybe a suggestion on what they much be woth would help. I don't have a lot of spare funds to this throw at extra parts. But I figure if I can save some parts from the crusher, get them in the hands of those that need them, and add a few bucks to the javelin fund so I can afford some of my parts and it's a good deal for all involved.

the tails were in pretty good condition from what i saw. no spider webbing, cracks, or chips. i'm going back out tomorrow, well later today now. lol and i'll take a good look at them. i'll find out how much they want for the front fender and see how it looks. was there a price range that you were looking in. that way if they shoot to high of a price i know not to worry about it?

i'm trying to remember how to take the back seats out. that way i don't have to screw up the lock to get into it. usually i just push down and forward in a magic spot and the come out. the just undo the two bolts holding the back on right?

Get the dash pads if they are not cracked.

Please excuse resurrecting this thread, but did you get any interior parts from this car? Was it a 2-door?

Thanks!
