IMPORTANT INFORMATION from the Great Lakes Classic AMC Club
On Sunday, August 17th, 2014 we will hold our annual AMC All Family Regional Show @ Greenmead Park, Livonia, Michigan. This year the club has decided to make the following changes to the show. ALL AMC vehicles that are registered and have chosen to have their vehicles judged, will now be judged according to AMO Concours Judging rules. (Here is the link to the AMO website for more information about Concours Judging) http://www.amonational.com/forms-downloads The Greenmead concours judging will be used according to AMO's guidelines for our shows starting in 2014 and beyond, and will only apply to the Greenmead show and will not be carried over to any other AMO show. It usually is... Also, the last few years we as a board have been listening to issues of different items that come up and adjust as needed, hoping to continue with a quality show. Also the weekend of the Woodward Dream Cruise which helps it to be worth the trip. Richard |

This will be one I can attend. Saturday at Woodward Dream Cruise is fun and then cap it off with some AMC on Sunday. The guys running this show are some of the nicest in the hobby (which is why I try to make it back). The atmosphere is pretty laid back and there is plenty of room to vend and show. One of the best parts is the AMC Design Team and meeting the artists who had their hands on making our cars come to life.

Just an update...
Sunday, August 10 we are having our monthly club meeting in Berkley, MI to stuff Goody Bag items, go over last minute details, and eat! IF you're in the area, you're more tha welcome to stop by and eat! After the meeting we will take a mini Dream Cruise (yes, cars start the week before). Also working on a possibility of getting a club members AMC Rambler Convertible in with a BIG group of folks... I'll keep you posted. Richard |

Getting good responses from Sponsor letters. Hearing about my members out finding AMC owners and some new folks coming. Always a good show and I am working on something that may put AMC's in the "Front Row" so to say. Dream Cruise excitement building too!

It was probably just spell check doing what it does. If you live in Michigan, why don't you become part of the local club. The people in the club are great guys. I wish the AMC guys in SE Wisconsin participated in club activities as much as the Michigan people do.
