First time at GAD. Had a great day! Thanks to Mike and all the people involved in putting on this show. If you get the chance to go it's well worth the trip.

hello everyone.... sorry this info wasn't posted sooner.. but like i said,, Elsa and I were just worn out and used up... ha ha ha.. it has been 16 years of Great Amc Day (GAD) now. and i have been noticing the last few years, that i am not as fast getting everything together as i did 16 years ago.. lol Anyway.... we had right at 165 people in attendance this year.. with car count of... 42 race cars and in the show car area.. I thank EVERYONE that comes to enjoy the event and all the sponsors and folks behind making GAD possible... Elsa and I are very humble and thankful for such a Great event. Elsa cooked 452 spring rolls this year... They sure are good. we changed things up just a bit this year.. we combined the pro and street class into just 1 class which doubled the money pay out. so this year we had AMC/mopar class, Stick shift and then the second chance race (round 1 and 2 buy back, and all non amc/mopar powered vehicles.. Winners this year in the AMC/mopar class. 1st place Don Hanshue 73 Javelin 2nd place David Bies 69 AMX 3rd place AJ Zellner 79 Spirit Stick Shift class 1st place A.H. (Hemmy) Adkins 69 AMX 2nd place Bobby Johns 68 Nova 3rd place Jack Miller 68 Javelin winner of the 2nd chance race Amanda Hoover 78 concord Amanda Hoover also won all the $$ Javelin Sue sponsors.. the car show portion. Sponsors choice Michael Rados with a gasser S/C clone People's choice Howard Crum 67 Rouque Gold Randy Hensinger 1902 Rambler Silver Doug Smith 74 AMX Bronze Pete Vaughn 70 rebel machine GAD 16 Sponsor list High Country graphics Jim Sobel Phoenex Rose fastners J & K Resto Mods Ken Walker North coast AMC Javelin Sue Rob Tompkins Dennis Becker Bob & Bonnie Reed Tom Guarr Dawn & Lonnie Landrith Ralf Winslow Jim Rose Robert McCorkle Snap on tools Cornwell tools Smyth (parts plus) Auto Zone Mike's auto Service Elsa Luke Jack & Judy Miller Doug and Ding (molson Beer) If i forgot anybody. it was not on purpose!!!!!!!
