Don't have a current flier ready to post, but wanted to let folks know the date and location for this years GAD.
The event will be Friday May 26th 2017 @ National trials Hebron Ohio.
with the pre-party Thursday night, and the Band will be back again fro Friday nights Fun...

I am working on a ideal. and need input if possible?
This will be 16 Years of hosting the event. and we are going to pay tribute to our Fallen AMC brothers and Sisters since 2001...
so far the list consists of

Randy McCorkle
need the name of the OE owner of (Sherriff of notingham)as he has passed since 07
Herman Lewis
Tom Bunzey and family, wife and twin sons, killed in a auto accident on Easter sunday
Mark Gardner???? (mi. twin turbo AMX)

anymore names or help would be great, feel free to add to this thread or send me a PM...

I believe Bruce Nottingham was the name of the original owner of "Sheriff of Nottingham" AMX/SS. I think it was also campaigned early on as "Trippin the lights Fantastic" or something similar.I think he passed in 2011 in Iowa.

I was hoping when the sheriff car got restored it would be to the *trippin the lights fantastic* would have been my choice for the restore... i liked that paint job...

It is a great way to get a taste of almost everything. Drag racing, peoples choice car show, vendors selling parts, and a great party on Friday night. It is a good way to kick off the car show season in this area.
